Welcome to Sheepadoodles of Falconwood
Our dogs are our family.
They don’t live in cages or runs. They live in our home with their own bedroom complete with bunks, and they’re always welcome to curl up on the end of our beds if they feel like it. This is the only life they’ve ever known.
In August 2023, we purchased our beautiful 1890s farmhouse, Falconwood, and made the move from The Oaks, NSW to the stunning Tarlo region. We now call 54 acres of hobby farm home, place where we raise our children, rescue and care for animals, and raise our puppies with intention, love, and a whole lot of heart.
Alongside our Sheepadoodles, we also breed Nigerian Dwarf goats and share our days with alpacas, cows, a donkey, sheep, pigs, chickens, horses, and of course, our six very loved dogs. Our puppies are raised right in the middle of it all, meeting animals of every size, experiencing new births, splashing in the dam, hearing farm machinery, playing with children, and learning how the world works in a safe, supported way.
From the very beginning, our puppies are gently handled and raised using early enrichment practices that help build confidence, emotional resilience, and calm, stable temperaments. They grow up with everyday household noise, visitors coming and going, and little challenges that help them become adaptable, well-rounded family dogs.
We first fell in love with Sheepadoodles back in 2018, when we joined a waitlist and brought our beautiful Torvi home as a tiny pup. From that moment on, we were completely hooked. The love, devotion, intuition, and almost human-like connection a Sheepadoodle brings is something really special and once you’ve experienced it, you will understand why people fall so hard for this breed. Its also why you will want more than just one.
We know how big the decision is when choosing a breeder for your future family member. It should never feel rushed or uncomfortable. That’s why we believe so strongly in transparency. We always welcome families into our home to meet us where possible, meet our dogs, and see exactly how they live. You’ll be able to walk the farm, meet the other animals, and truly understand where your puppy is being raised and why our puppies go home so confident, settled, and deeply bonded.
We are absolutely not a puppy farm. We believe dogs need people, couches to sit out on, humans to follow around, and weekends spent at the beach or adventuring with their families. Many of our breeding dogs stay with us for life, but some don’t enjoy pack living and are much happier as someone’s one-and-only. When that happens, they’re carefully placed into exceptional forever homes. This allows us to continue breeding ethically without ever needing cages or runs. All of our retired dogs are desexed before leaving us and will always have a home here if they ever need us.
Our puppies head off to their new homes at eight weeks old, having been born and raised right here in our family home, knowing only love, safety, and human connection from their very first breath. Every puppy is placed thoughtfully, based on temperament and lifestyle, and we’re always here as ongoing support for our Falconwood families.
We don’t raise puppies for everyone we raise them for the right families. Families that will treat them as family, love them like a child and keep them forever.
If Falconwood feels like home to you, we’d love to welcome you here. temperament and lifestyle fit, and we remain a lifelong point of support for every Falconwood family.
If Falconwood feels like home to you, we would love to meet you.
