We have been using Dogtainers and more recently Departure Pets and have had wonderful experiences with both.  We highly recommend that if you cant come and pick up your pup from us yourself that you book with one of these fantastic companies.  We can help you arrange that.  They will even pick up from our door and deliver to yours, or you can pick up yourself from the airport.  Pups will need to be picked up from us at Tarlo 2580, the closest airport is Canberra.  We will send you a message close to the time of pups going home and will include our address so you can request a quote from Dogtainers Website

As breeders we often get much better prices than our families so feel free to obtain a quote and send it through to us and we can get a quote too.  If we can get a better deal for you we can book on your behalf and have you reimburse us.

The pups will weigh approximately 6kg at the time of the flights.  At 8 weeks the airlines request a Fit To Fly Certificate from the Vet, we at Falconwood will cover the cost of this certificate if it is done at the time of the puppies Vet Check and Vaccination at 7 weeks.  If you decide after this to fly the pup you will need to cover the cost (approx $95).

We do find that the pups fly very very well and actually cope better than a long journey in the car.  We get much less incidence of travel sickness and they usually get off the plane and settle quickly.

As a part of our puppy pack the pups will arrive wearing an Adaptil Junior Collar valued at $73.99.  Mother dogs release a natural "appeasing message" for their puppies whilst she is lactating which is called the Dog Appeasing Pheromone. This pheromone message helps her puppies to feel secure and supports bonding of the new family. It also helps puppies to have the confidence to explore and learn about the world around them.

Dog Appeasing Pheromone is odourless and only dogs can perceive the message. In fact, dogs of any age can detect the "appeasing message" of comfort and security provided by the Dog Appeasing Pheromone.  The collar is infused with this pheromone and  helps them adapt to their new surroundings & new family, supports them when they face stressful situations, as well as facilitating their education.  The collar lasts 30 days from the day of pick up so leave it on at all times until the 30 days are up.  Only remove if puppy is having a bath or enjoying some water play.  We also have an Adaptil room Diffuser running at all times where our babies are sleeping.
