Life After Falconwood
Our dogs are family for life, even if not under our own roof anymore. Below you’ll meet some of our retired dogs, some here with us forever and others now living their best lives in their new forever homes. You’ll see them doing what they do best, being deeply loved family members. Some are support and Therapy dogs making us proud every day.
Their stories are part of Falconwood, and they always will be.
While many of our dogs remain with us forever, some don’t enjoy pack living and truly thrive as someone’s one-and-only or in a quieter home. When that happens, we carefully and thoughtfully place them into exceptional forever homes where they can live their very best life.
Every retired Falconwood dog is desexed before leaving us, and placed with families we know, trust, and stay in contact with. These dogs are not “rehomed” they are hand-chosen into homes that suit them perfectly.
This page exists because transparency matters to us. We want families to see not only the dogs we currently have here, but also the lives our dogs go on to live happy, loved, and completely settled.
Ethically, it isn’t right for us to keep every dog here long-term if we want to continue breeding the way we believe is right. Being part of a breeding program should never mean missing out on love, affection, or a real family life. By keeping our numbers small, working with trusted local guardian homes, and placing some retired dogs into forever homes, we can ensure every dog gets exactly the life they deserve.
Our retired dogs continue to enjoy everything they’ve always known, love, comfort, companionship, and a place on the couch (and often the bed).
We remain a lifelong point of support for every Falconwood dog and are always here if one of our dogs ever needs us. We will ALWAYS be home!
Falconwood Valkyrie - RETIRED
Valkyrie is calm, loving and easy in every way. She has a sense for when you just need a big warm hug. She has a way of making you feel loved. Valkyrie will spend the rest of her days at Falconwood.Valkyries favorite thing to do is lay on her back with her tummy and giant paws exposed so that you can spend your time tickling her tummy. She spends her nights bed surfing between my sons bed and ours. Even though she is a large dog she could easily live in an apartment as she is happiest when with her humans. Valkyrie absolutely loved being a mummy, she would even let our baby goats nurse from her. When the other mums had pups she would lay in the nursery and allow the pups to suckle even when she had no milk. Valkyrie had 3 litters for us and was retired, she was not at all impressed and still allows the goats to suckle.
Falconwood Rune - RETIRED
Our sweet Rune touches hearts everywhere she goes. She wraps her paws around your neck and looks into you with her big brown eyes. She was the most beautiful mum and her pups are a testament to her temperament. Rune had two perfect litters for us and was retired. Rune was better suited to a life full of humans needing her love than part of the Falconwood pack so she was re homed to her perfecr family in Tasmaina where she spends her days loving on 3 very special little humans. Two of which have special needs and Rune is in her element. Rune had two litters and was retired.
Falconwood Torvi - RETIRED
Torvi the one who started it all, before Falconwood had a name, before puppies filled our home and little paws ran across the grass… there was Torvi. Also known as Torpedo and Torgi Dog.
Our first Sheepadoodle, our heart dog, and the gentle matriarch who unknowingly changed our lives forever. We had no plans on breeding when we added Torvi to our family. We adopted her after researching for months about the breed and deciding that a Sheepadoodle was the perfect furry family member. We had two young children at the time and wanted her to be their guardian and a best friend for our Samoyed Harlow. She met those expectations and more. Torvi had two litters and was retired.
Falconwood Stella - RETIRED
Falconwood Stella is now living her very best life with the love of her life, Bailey and the two of them are truly inseparable. Stella plays an incredibly important role in Bailey’s life, offering calm companionship, comfort, and steady support in ways only a dog like Stella can. Since coming together, she has brought so much love, reassurance, and genuine progress into Bailey’s world, and watching their bond grow has been something really special! Stellas pups are some of the biggest pups we have ever bred. They are also some of the sweetest. Stella absolutely loved being a mum and would often steel other mums pups wether she had her own pups or not, she had 3 litters for us and was retired, to this day she will mother anything that will let her.
Falconwood Jersey - RETIRED
Jersey girl is the daughter of the famous Stella, just a smaller version. Jersey is a Standard Poodle, she is so very pretty. She certainly enjoys the mud though which was never fun being that she is pure white. Jersey loved to lay in the hot sun or infront of a warm fire. She carries her mother’s beautiful nature in a quieter, softer way. Where Stella is confident and outspoken, Jersey is gentle and content to observe, listen, and simply be close. Jersey had one litter for us and was retired.
Falconwood Sorren - RETIRED
Sorren also known as Sozzy is just a teddy bear. She rolls over and shows her belly at every chance of a tummy tickle. She has the softest coat and eyes that would melt the coldest heart. Sorren is very much human orientated, she is in her element when laying on the couch belly up with her humans. She does love dogs just not in large numbers all at once so retirement for her was best enjoyed with a family to call her own and one furry best friend.
Sorren lives with another Falconwood pup Willis and his Pawrents and loves life! She is where she is meant to be and comes to stay on holidays with us often. Willis and Sorren are inseperable. Sorren had two stunning litters for us and was retired in 2025.
