Our Boys - Temperament, Health, and Integrity

Our stud dogs are chosen with the same unwavering standards as our girls.

At Falconwood, a male is never used for breeding based on looks alone. Temperament and health are non-negotiable and they come first, every single time.

Our boys must demonstrate:

• Stable, trustworthy, and confident temperaments
• Excellent manners and emotional soundness
• Strong people focus and natural sociability
• Proven health, structure, and genetic testing
• The ability to pass on calm, reliable temperaments

A handsome face, impressive size, or eye-catching coat will never excuse poor behaviour, instability, or health concerns. We will not stand a dog that is sharp, anxious, aggressive, or unsuitable for family life, no matter how impressive he looks on paper.

Only after a boy has proven himself mentally and physically do we consider his appearance as part of the bigger picture.

Our goal isn’t to produce “pretty puppies.”

It’s to produce balanced, healthy, well-tempered dogs who thrive as lifelong companions.
