Falconwood Maverick - Standard Poodle

Maverick is our stunning stud male. Maverick is a Standard Poodle with a rare and beautiful blue Merle non shedding coat.  He is our daughters dog and loves her dearly.  Mav Man was born in October 2022. 

He is the happiest dude in town.  He always has a smile on his face that is 100% contagious. He looooves other dogs and is highly intelligent.  He comes from a fantastic breeder with high ethics and the highest quality dogs.  We are very grateful to have been allowed to add him to our program and for the mentorship and friendship we now have with Peter.

He has an incredible coloured coat and sometimes his pups have blue eyes, these are amazing traits but are not the reason we adore him.  You wont find a more loving or happy guy.  When you make a huge investment into your program you hope that they will be everything you hoped for.  Well Maverick has exceeded all these expectations and more.  We adore this beautiful guy and are grateful for each and every moment with him and all the incredible pups he has sired.

Mavericks favorite thing to do is Play. He loves doing obstacles and chasing balls with our daughter and then coming inside and laying with her on her bed while she does her homework or watches a movie.  He loves being a dad and is super affectionate and playful with his pups.

DNA testing is one part of Falconwood’s comprehensive health screening program. Our breeding dogs also undergo PennHIP, Hip & Elbow VetScoring, and other relevant health assessments to help us make informed breeding decisions.

A copy of each parent dog’s health testing results is included in our puppy owners’ information pack at the time of collection, providing families with complete transparency regarding their puppy’s parents.

To the best of our knowledge, Falconwood is among the very few Sheepadoodle breeders in Australia that undertake this level of comprehensive health testing, and possibly the only breeder to publicly share the health results of our breeding dogs on our website.

We do not publish the original certificates on our website, as they contain personal information, including owner details and other identifying information. Instead, we provide a clear summary of each dog’s results, while the original documentation is available to our puppy families.
