Guardian Home Wanted - Standard Poodle Falconwood Journey

VERY SPECIAL GUARDIAN HOME OPPORTUNITY 

Look at this tiny girl.  This beautiful blue merle baby is one of Daisy & Maverick’s Standard Poodle girls and we are hoping to find an incredibly special family to become hers.   You can see photos of her dad Maverick and sister Roxxy in the album to give you an idea of how she will look grown.  

And this little girl is especially important to us. In the not-too-distant future, her beautiful dad Maverick will be retiring from our breeding program.  Journey was born 13th Aug 2026.

Mav has given us some incredibly special babies and has left such a huge mark on Falconwood. The thought of his breeding days eventually coming to an end is definitely a little bittersweet.  Dont worry Mav will never leave Falconwood he will remain here with us forever.

This tiny girl gives us the opportunity to carry a little piece of Maverick forward into the next chapter of Falconwood. 

We want Journey her to have her people.A family whose bed she sleeps on.  Someone she follows to the bathroom. A family to grow up with, holidays to go on, a favourite spot on the lounge and people who can’t imagine their home without her.

We want Falconwood to be her second home… but you will always be her first.  She won’t leave us at 8 weeks like our other puppies. She will stay here with us until around 16 weeks of age while she grows and we complete her preliminary health checks and assessments. Only if everything is exactly as we hope will she continue towards becoming part of our breeding program.

Her Guardian price will be $1500 which is considerably less than asking price and she will have a maximum of TWO litters with us. Once those two litters are complete, we will have her desexed at our cost, and from that point on she will simply be yours… for the rest of her life. 

We always believe in being completely open and transparent about this part of the process, because we want everything to feel clear and comfortable from the very beginning for both us and her future family.  If she does not end up part of our program she will then be offered as a pet only and will be the same price as the rest of her litter.

There is also another really important part of our Guardian program.  For the entire time she is under contract, all of her boarding here at Falconwood is completely FREE.  And we actually WANT you to use it.

Go away for the weekend. Take that holiday. Let her come back for sleepovers with us.  Because we want her to grow up knowing this place.

We want her little tail wagging when she comes through our gate. We want her to know our voices, our home and our dogs. We want her to run in here knowing exactly where she is and that she is loved here too.

Then one day, when she comes back to us to have her own babies, she isn’t being left with strangers in an unfamiliar place.  She’s simply coming home to her second family. 

And when her babies are raised and it’s time for her to go home again she goes straight back to the family who has been hers all along.  That’s exactly how we want our Guardian Program to work.

We aren’t looking for just somewhere for this baby to live.  We’re looking for her people.  And that’s why we’re starting our search while she’s still so tiny. We have absolutely no intention of rushing this decision. Finding the RIGHT family is far more important to us than finding one quickly.

Her Guardian family will need to live within approximately 1.5 hours of Tarlo/Goulburn NSW and, most importantly, want the kind of relationship with us where we all feel like one big extended family
